Bunny

“Bunny” is a captivating exploration of natural form and artistic expression, bringing together the untamed beauty of weathered wood and the refined rhythm of layered glass. At the heart of the sculpture lies a naturally shaped piece of timber, distinguished by its softly rounded contours, irregular silhouette, and richly textured surface. Its branching forms and unexpected curves give the artwork a playful, almost whimsical personality. The wood's intricate grain patterns, subtle cracks, knots, and weathered details reveal the passage of time. Rather than concealing these natural characteristics, the artist embraces them as essential elements of the composition, allowing the material's individual history to become part of the artwork. Two carefully arranged bands of layered glass introduce a striking contrast to the organic wooden form. Alternating shades of turquoise, cream, brown, and darker tones create a sophisticated visual rhythm, following the sculpture's natural contours while adding a sense of structure and movement. The contrast between the irregular texture of the wood and the precisely arranged glass elements establishes a delicate balance between spontaneity and intention, nature and contemporary design. Viewed from different angles, “Bunny” reveals new details and changing visual relationships. Its gently flowing silhouette draws the eye, while the colorful glass accents invite closer observation of the craftsmanship and the material's rich surface. Despite its playful name, “Bunny” possesses a refined sculptural presence. Its earthy palette, organic proportions, and subtle color contrasts make it a distinctive statement piece for contemporary interiors, minimalist spaces, and thoughtfully curated art collections. As a one-of-a-kind creation, “Bunny” cannot be reproduced in precisely the same form. It stands as a celebration of natural individuality and the transformative possibilities of artistic craftsmanship.
