Geometry

“Geometry” is a contemporary sculptural composition exploring the fascinating relationship between the organic irregularity of nature and the precision of human design. The artwork consists of two wooden elements, each with its own distinctive character and tonal qualities. One features a darker, richly defined grain, while the other reveals the softer, warmer textures of natural wood. Together, they create a harmonious dialogue between contrasting surfaces. Both elements are interrupted by carefully arranged layers of wood and glass. These repeating vertical bands introduce a strong geometric rhythm, transforming the natural wooden forms into a structured yet visually dynamic composition. Light plays an essential role in the artwork. As illumination passes through the translucent glass layers, subtle reflections and glowing accents emerge, revealing an additional dimension within the solid wooden structures. The contrast between the unpredictable patterns of natural wood and the deliberate precision of geometric forms creates a captivating sense of balance. “Geometry” celebrates the interaction of material, structure, light, and shadow. It is a reflection on how natural beauty and intentional design can coexist in perfect visual harmony. Created as a one-of-a-kind composition, this artwork is a unique expression of craftsmanship and contemporary artistic vision.
